Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic mental health and social services team. Duties
- Conduct thorough clinical assessments, including diagnostic evaluations using ICD-10/ICD-9 coding systems, to determine patient needs and treatment pathways
- Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and evidence-based practices
- Implement specialized interventions for clients with developmental disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, PTSD, addiction issues, Alzheimer’s care, and geriatrics
- Engage in crisis intervention and crisis management to ensure patient safety and stability during urgent situations
- Collaborate with medical professionals to coordinate integrated care plans while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinical confidentiality policies
- Document all patient interactions accurately within Electronic Medical Records (EMR/EHR) systems following medical documentation standards
- Participate in clinical research activities, data collection efforts, and case management to support ongoing quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or equivalent in the relevant jurisdiction
- Proven experience in mental health counseling, social work, or related fields with a focus on behavioral health or psychiatric patient care
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, psychiatric diagnoses (ICD coding), CPT coding for billing purposes, and clinical documentation standards
- Expertise in psychotherapy techniques including motivational interviewing, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and addiction counseling
- Experience working with children, adolescents, adults with disabilities or developmental disorders, and elderly populations in hospital or community settings
- Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems for efficient documentation and data collection
- Ability to manage crisis situations effectively while demonstrating excellent case management skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and medical social work practices ensuring patient confidentiality at all times

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
