Full Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative HR Generalist to join our team on a temporary basis while a member of our HR team is on leave. This role will support a variety of human resources and payroll functions, ensuring a seamless experience for employees and helping maintain day-to-day HR operations.

The ideal candidate is organized, responsive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Experience with UKG (formerly UltiPro) is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

Provide day-to-day support to the HR team across a variety of employee lifecycle activities.
Coordinate and initiate new hire onboarding.
Process employment and income verification requests for lenders, prospective employers, and employees.
Manage unemployment claims and related documentation.
Review and audit bi-weekly payroll for accuracy prior to processing.
Respond to employee inquiries through the HR inbox and route requests as appropriate.
Process payroll adjustments, deduction changes, earnings updates, and other manual payroll corrections as needed.
Prepare and distribute recurring monthly HR reports for internal stakeholders.
Support HR leadership with additional projects and administrative tasks as needed.

Qualifications:

2+ years of Human Resources experience required
Experience supporting payroll processing or payroll administration.
Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Compensation Range – $30.00 - $35.00/ hour

Location(s) & Work Arrangement – Baltimore, MD / Hybrid

Duration— Approximately September – December 2026
