Job Overview
Duckstache Hospitality is excited to announce that we are looking for a talented hospitality professional to join our team as a bartender at Aiko. This position is full time and must be available to work weekends. As a bartender on our team you are paid hourly plus tips, and work alongside servers and sushi chefs.
About Aiko
Chefs Patrick Pham and Daniel Lee have over 30 years of combined experience in Japanese cuisine and sushi. They established their culinary careers in Houston where they worked together for four years at an award-winning Japanese restaurant. Pham and Lee teamed up to bring new curated dining concepts to Houston’s food scene and kicked off a series of omakase pop-up dinners called Secret Taste. In 2019 Pham and Lee opened Kokoro Sushi and Yakitori in the Bravery Chef Hall in Downtown Houston, and following their success opened Handies Douzo shortly after. At Aiko’s sushi bar, the chefs thoughtfully curate a range of omakases and a variety of raw, cooked, and rolled items. Aiko (pronounced eye-ko) means “love child” in Japanese — nod to the two other Duckstache Hospitality concepts, Handies Duozo and Kokoro Sushi and Yakitori, that inspired the menu.
