Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Outside Sales Representative to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a sales professional with an established network in the construction industry, particularly among general contractors, builders, developers, and subcontractors. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who enjoys building relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain relationships with general contractors, builders, developers, and other construction professionals.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company's customer base.
Generate leads through networking, prospecting, referrals, and industry events.
Promote and sell the company's concrete blocks
Prepare and present product information, pricing, and proposals to prospective clients.
Negotiate contracts and close new business opportunities.
Maintain strong relationships with existing customers while expanding new accounts.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and timely delivery.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs.
Meet and exceed monthly and annual sales goals.
Qualifications
Proven experience in outside sales, preferably within the construction or building materials industry.
Existing relationships with general contractors, builders, developers, and construction decision-makers is highly preferred.
Strong business development and prospecting skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Preferred Experience
Experience selling concrete products, masonry products, building materials, construction supplies, or related products.
Knowledge of the South Florida construction market (or applicable market).
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
