Full Job Description

Alliance Health Care is a comprehensive health care provider in Minnesota offering a diverse menu of services and supports to individuals with disabilities, persons with mental health diagnosis, and the aging community.

We are looking for a tech savvy and customer support minded “YES” person to assist our payroll team. This position plays a critical role in maintaining compliance with Minnesota Medicaid regulations by monitoring caregiver visit activity, resolving documentation discrepancies, and supporting staff with EVV system usage. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across departments. This is primarily a remote work-from-home position but will require the ability to work on site at our Eagan office to support special projects as needed. On site support will likely increase in the future but will still retain primary remote status.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with processing and auditing biweekly payroll for 1000+ field and admin employees
Provide payroll support/customer service to employees through phone and email
Assist with user set up in Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) software
Provide EVV user tech support/trouble shooting as needed
Assist with any and all special payroll projects and tasks as needed and delegated (this is the "YES" part!)

QUALIFICATIONS:

Our favored candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas (not all are required):

Customer Service (tech and/or payroll support preferred)
Experience/familiarity with EVV software a plus
Data Entry (Cashe, Pavillio, Sage, ADP helpful not required)

***If any of the above experience was gained while working within the health care industry, that's a bonus

Candidates must be:

Upbeat and engaging in communication style with a positive personality/team player attitude
Proficient with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Technologically savvy, can pick up/learn new software programs easily
Able to troubleshoot and provide solutions and/or training clearly and understandably
Highly organized and able to manage multiple competing priorities
Self-managed and motivated to work with little supervision
Able to work at a fast pace with high efficiency
Skilled in written and verbal communication skills with attention to spelling, grammar, thoroughness, and professional expression
At least eighteen (18) years of age with a high school diploma, at minimum
Able to Pass a DHS Background Check
