Full Job Description

Position: Data Architect

Location: Atlanta, GA (Hybrid)

Employment Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire

Base Salary: $175K per annum

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the strategic design and implementation of enterprise-scale data architecture solutions supporting multi-tenant SaaS platforms. This role will focus on modern cloud-based data ecosystems, scalable data platforms, AI/ML-ready architectures, and real-time data integration solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement scalable enterprise data architectures for SaaS environments
Architect modern data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and real-time streaming solutions
Lead database optimization and performance tuning initiatives
Define data governance, security, and data modeling standards
Collaborate with engineering, leadership, and business stakeholders on data strategy
Support AI/ML data readiness and analytics platform initiatives
Drive cloud-native data platform adoption using AWS and Databricks

Required Skills & Experience:

10+ years of experience in Data Architecture / Data Engineering
Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and AWS data ecosystem
Expertise in Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
Experience with OLTP, OLAP, ETL/ELT, data lakes, and streaming platforms
Strong understanding of multi-tenant SaaS architecture
Experience with Kafka, Kinesis, CDC, or similar streaming technologies
Knowledge of AI/ML data platforms and analytics ecosystems
Experience with Terraform, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code
Strong data modeling and performance optimization expertise

Preferred Experience:

Transportation, Logistics, or Supply Chain domain experience
Exposure to SageMaker, MLflow, or Databricks ML
Knowledge of modern BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker

Pay: Up to $175,000.00 per year
