Job Description
ATC West Healthcare is seeking a board-certified OB/GYN physician for a locum assignment beginning in August through December 31, 2026. Coverage will be provided at one of two Michigan practice locations and includes a mix of clinic responsibilities, labor and delivery care, and call coverage. This is an excellent opportunity for a local physician comfortable managing the full spectrum of obstetric and gynecologic care.
Dates/Schedule
Assignment Duration
- August 2026 – December 31, 2026
Weekday Coverage (Monday–Friday)
- 8 hours of patient care daily
- Up to 6 hours dedicated to clinic coverage
- Night call required following scheduled shifts
Weekend Coverage
- 24-hour call coverage on Saturdays and Sundays
Job Details & Responsibilities
Practice Setting
- Outpatient clinic, labor & delivery, and call coverage
- EHR: Cerner
- Support staff: 2 Nurse Practitioners
Patient Volume
- Outpatient: 6-8 patients per day
- Approximately 1.5 deliveries per day
Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide routine prenatal care
- Perform vaginal deliveries
- Perform Cesarean sections
- Manage and perform VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean) deliveries
- Participate in night and weekend call coverage
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Board Certified in OB/GYN (required)
- Active Michigan medical license (required)
- Minimum 2 years of OB/GYN experience (required)
- Must be a local candidate (required)
- Must submit rates during the name-clear process (required)
- Current NPDB report pulled within the last 30 days (required at presentation)
