Job Duties and Tasks
1. Be proficient at all tasks executed by inventory staff - Managing Inventory, servicing our internal customers, and showing competence with the ERP system and an advanced skillset with Microsoft Office - Excel, Outlook, & Word to analyze and monitor inventory.
2. Create Work Instructions for new tasks/responsibilities, ensure all Inventory staff are trained on Inventory Work Instructions, and review annually as necessary for updates.
3. Work with the Inventory Assistant Manager on generating Cycle count schedules and actual Cycle Count lists. Communicate with production team members. Cycle count schedule.
4. Execute Cycle Counts as directed by the Inventory Manager. Analyze results for excesses, then devise and act on resolutions with necessary team members to correct the issue(s).
5. Coordinate shelf audits with staff, monitor for loss, theft, errors, and report to the inventory assistant manager.
6. Ensure accurate data is recorded on WOs to Vendors. Work to maintain vendor relations, identifying potential problem areas and working to prevent conflict.
7. Oversee POs for 3rd party vendors, assist with product return as needed.
8. Support inventory staff in their day-to-day operations to ensure the needs of the production department are met.
9. Work with Shipping and Accounting to resolve shipping/Item Fulfillment issues.
10. Be able to assist with ATF audits with the ATF coordinator as necessary.
11. Perform ATF-related duties as necessary, except for corporate duties.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:
1. Must be able to handle working in an industrial high-paced environment.
2. General knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2008 as it pertains to the job.
High School degree or equivalent; 2 years’ experience in Inventory/Manufacturing preferred.
3. Must be able to learn to use and navigate the ERP system. Intermediate computer skills. Strong skill set using Microsoft Office Products, particularly Excel.
4. Good organizational and problem-solving skills. Must be precise and accurate while working with a sense of urgency.
5. Professional, positive attitude with good communication and investigation skills.
6. Proficient English communication skills- reading, writing, and speaking - as it relates to the job. Bilingual a plus.
7. Skilled in basic math, including but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.
8. Ability to adapt to a changing work environment, competing demands and ability to deal with frequent changes, delays, or unexpected events.
9. Able to organize and prioritize work within mandatory time frames to meet or exceed demanded deadlines - achieving customer and quality objectives.
10. Ability to be friendly, courteous, tactful, and maintain composure while working effectively and collaboratively with others. A team player.
11. Requires the ability to maneuver in confined and, at times, congested areas.
12. Ability to work independently, following through on assignments with minimal direction
13. Reasoning skills, including but not limited to comparing, classifying, analyzing, and coordinating, minimizing duplication of effort.
