Job Duties and Tasks
1. Manage the ATF-registered product lines from inventory creation through ATF approvals and final shipping to customers.
2. Work with Quality/Warranty on serialized reworks and RGAs.
3. Train all staff (inventory, production) on requirements about serialized products.
4. Collaborate with Warranty (RGAs and Reworks), Production and Shipping, Program managers, and Executive personnel on aspects related to ATF items to ensure constant traceability.
5. Acquire and dispose of all production firearms per internal guidelines (Traveler-Work Order, ATF Company A&D Logbook, and ATF NFA website).
6. Acquire and dispose of all employee firearm purchases per internal guidelines (Employee Form, ATF Company A&D Logbook, and ATF NFA website) – Corporate Only.
7. Digitally organize, save, and maintain all ATF paperwork and files.
8. Maintain control and keep secure firearms / NFA items at all times by performing inventory counts as necessary.
9. Review, create, and maintain Work Instructions for all tasks performed. Review with the inventory and shipping manager at least twice a year. Train inventory and production staff as applicable.
10. Under the supervision of the ATF Manager, coordinate and execute internal ATF audits (at least twice a year) by reconciling physical count with internal ERP, Internal A&D, and ATF logbook with 100% accuracy.
11. Support the ATF Manager during any federal ATF audit.
12. Handle all questions from employees regarding serialized firearms / NFA items.
13. Gain and maintain a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the State and Federal A.T.F. rules and regulations for the Azimuth serialized product lines.
14. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, and instructions.
15. Create, maintain, and monitor internal A&D reports for end users and conduct data analysis as needed to provide supporting data and KPI metrics to Business Leaders.
16. Perform other related duties as required
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Competencies:
1. Must be able to handle working in an industrial, high-paced environment.
2. General knowledge and understanding of ISO 9001:2015 as it pertains to the job.
3. High School degree or equivalent; 5 years of experience in law enforcement or similar position preferred.
4. Intermediate computer skills, including Microsoft Office Products.
5. Comprehensive understanding of Firearms / NFA rules and guidelines (Rifles, handguns, shotguns, receivers, and Suppressors)
6. Ability to be friendly, courteous, tactful, and maintain composure while working effectively and collaboratively with others. A team player.
7. Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
8. Proficient English communication skills- reading, writing, and speaking - as it relates to the job; Spanish a plus.
9. Excellent verbal, phone, and written skills to communicate effectively with teammates and outside vendors.
10. Skilled in basic math, including but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplying, division.
11. Skilled in adapting to a changing work environment, competing demands, and the ability to deal with frequent change, delays, or unexpected events.
12. Skilled in setting priorities that move projects through efficiently – achieving customer and quality objectives.
13. Skilled in working independently, following through with assignments with minimal direction.
14. Reasoning skills, including but not limited to comparing, classifying, analyzing, and coordinating- minimizing duplication of effort.
