Engineering Job Description/Requirements – Senior Firmware/Design Engineer
- Primary responsibility will be to work with Marketing & Sales force to evolve product specifications and associated design schedules and then lead the firmware/hardware development effort on a range of endpoint power management products.
Additional responsibilities:
- Support CNC machine tools, wire crimping machines, and wire stripping machines
- Design production and calibration equipment
- Test Equipment to UL Standards
The background of a well-qualified candidate will include:
- Bachelors or Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5+ years experience in embedded C/C++ and assembly language programming
- Experience with real time operating systems & requirements
- Firmware design and programming experience with 8-32-bit microprocessors (Microchip/Atmel 8-32 bit), including a thorough understanding of embedded system architecture design and development, as well as maintenance & test capabilities
- Ability to analyze hardware design documentation to determine appropriate user interface and driver solutions
- Excellent debugging skills in low level software and hardware
- Ability to work independently & effectively with little supervision
- Excellent communication skills

Pay: $77,381.83 - $93,191.02 per year
