HVAC Territory Development Representative (Field Sales)Position Overview
Bulletproof AC is seeking a highly motivated, professional, and knowledgeable HVAC Territory Development Representative to travel throughout Florida and build relationships with HVAC contractors. This is a field-based role focused on generating dealer relationships, gathering contractor information, identifying decision-makers, and creating opportunities for our inside sales team and leadership to close new business.
The ideal candidate has HVAC industry experience, understands contractor operations, is comfortable walking into businesses unannounced, and enjoys meeting new people. This position requires daily travel, strong communication skills, and the ability to represent the Bulletproof AC brand professionally at all times.

Key Responsibilities
- Visit a minimum of 20-30 HVAC contractor locations per day.
- Identify and engage owners, service managers, operations managers, and purchasing decision-makers.
- Collect accurate contact information including:
- Owner name
- Decision-maker name
- Phone numbers
- Email addresses
- Company size and service area
- Current equipment brands carried
- Introduce contractors to Bulletproof AC's product offerings and value proposition.
- Schedule follow-up calls, meetings, and presentations for the sales team.
- Build relationships with HVAC contractors and establish trust within assigned territories.
- Maintain detailed records of all interactions in CRM software.
- Attend trade events, industry functions, and contractor networking opportunities as needed.
- Provide market intelligence regarding competitors, pricing trends, and contractor feedback.
- Represent Bulletproof AC professionally and positively at all times.
Daily Performance Expectations
- Minimum of 20-30 contractor visits per day.
- Consistent collection of qualified contractor contact information.
- Weekly generation of new sales opportunities.
- Accurate CRM documentation and reporting.
- Regular communication with management regarding territory activity and results.
Required Qualifications
- HVAC industry experience strongly preferred.
- Previous experience working for an HVAC contractor, distributor, manufacturer, or related industry.
- Strong understanding of HVAC equipment, terminology, and contractor operations.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently.
- Comfortable with extensive driving and daily face-to-face prospecting.
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
- Ability to use smartphones, tablets, CRM systems, and mapping software.
Preferred Qualifications
- HVAC sales experience.
- Territory sales experience.
- Distribution or wholesale HVAC background.
- Existing relationships with HVAC contractors in Florida.
- Knowledge of residential and light commercial HVAC equipment.
