Full Job Description

DESCRIPTION

We are currently searching for our newly created Sr Manager of Finance and Accounting in our offices in Tualatin OR. This is an outstanding opportunity to leverage your existing experience to contribute immediately as well as to support the organization through your fiscal and operational expertise.

We offer a very supportive, collaborative and flexible working environment and this position you will be a hands-on leader and a trusted business partner to ownership! We are a hybrid working environment working on-site only 1 day per week, however only PNW based candidates will be considered. You will report directly to C-level management, and become a trusted business partner. We are a creative services firm, so you will have the opportunity of working with gifted and very dedicated team members!

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Assumes all aspects of management of a team of accountants/specialists, and will offer expertise towards closing process improvements.

2. Assumes primary responsibility for fixed assets and inventory valuation/analysis.

3. Assumes responsibilities for all cash forecasting as well as banking relationships.

4. Will develop and lead budgeting processes and initiatives.

5. Will (on a continual basis) offer insights and analysis towards improvements of accounting methods and processes.

6. Will function as the interface with outside auditors.

7. Will analyze and make presentations of proposed internal controls improvements.

8. Leads special projects as required.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

1. A bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Business from an accredited college/university is a must.

2. Professional accounting and finance experience of 8+ years is required. Prior experience in a professional services or creative services environment is a plus.

3. Must demonstrate concise communication skills particularly in regards to communications to C level management.

4. Must have had prior ultimate responsibility for the general ledger/closings.

5. Experience with budgeting is a must.

6. Strong experience with MS Office/Excel.

Pay: $122,500.00 - $140,000.00 per year
