Full Job Description

100% Plaintiff based Injury law firm looking to add full-time, Legal secretary/Paralegal to our firm in Baton Rouge, LA.

This position will involve client contact, organization, case management, drafting of legal pleadings, documents and correspondence, along with trial and appeal work.

Required Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to proactively handle 80+ case files; strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; and positive attitude. MUST have litigation and trial experience.

Preferred Skills: Proficiency in case management software (Microsoft Access); proficiency with office software, including: Word Perfect, Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBooks, and Adobe Acrobat.

Experience: 10 + years’ experience working in Personal Injury and Workers' Compensation law.
