Full Job Description

Manual Tester

Location: Austin, TX – Onsite

We are seeking a Manual Tester with a minimum of 4+ years of practical experience in Web Application Testing. This role involves working on a dynamic and mission-oriented public sector project, offering great opportunities for learning and skill development. The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

Proficiency in database testing, with extensive experience in writing complex SQL queries.
Familiarity with testing REST and SOAP services using JAX-WS/RS frameworks.
Expertise in creating test cases and utilizing ALM tools, with a solid understanding of all its modules.
Hands-on experience with defect tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, JAMA, or related JIRA plug-ins.
Competency in running batch jobs in a Linux environment to verify interface files.
Prior project experience in Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present effectively to teams and clients.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
