Full Job Description

Cosmic Care ABA
We are a local and growing ABA organization that primarily serves adults, with opportunity for advancement.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, CA. The BCBA will be responsible for developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans, conducting assessments, providing training and supervision to RBTs (Registered Behavior Technicians), and collaborating with families and other professionals to ensure the highest standards of care in the behavioral and mental health space.

This is a meaningful opportunity for individuals with a background in psychology, mental health, or behavioral health who are passionate about improving lives through evidence-based practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and develop individualized treatment plans.
Implement and supervise ABA programs, ensuring fidelity and effectiveness.
Provide direct supervision and training to RBTs and other support staff.
Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as needed based on data and outcomes.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals (including those in mental health and behavioral health) to support the implementation of treatment plans.
Conduct parent and caregiver training sessions to promote skill generalization and family involvement.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and supervision activities.
Stay current with ABA research, psychology literature, and best practices to ensure the highest quality of care.
Adhere to ethical guidelines and professional standards as set forth by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).

Qualifications:

Current BCBA certification in good standing with the BACB.
Minimum of 1–2 years of experience working as a BCBA, preferably with individuals with autism, mental health challenges, or developmental disabilities.
Strong knowledge of ABA principles, techniques, and interventions.
Background or interest in psychology, behavioral health, or related human services fields is a plus.
Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation for travel within Ventura County.
Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.

$85,000/Annual Salary
$3,000.00 sign on bonus. $1,500 at 90 and 180 days
