Solar Sales Closer (Experienced)

Full-Time | Commission-Based | Uncapped Earnings

Job Summary

We are hiring experienced Solar Sales Closers who can confidently run in-home or virtual appointments and close high-quality solar deals.

This is a full-cycle closing role (no entry-level candidates) designed for proven performers who understand consultative selling, financing structures, and objection handling in residential solar. If you can take a qualified opportunity, build value, and consistently close—this role is built for you.

What You’ll Do

Close Solar Deals

Run in-home and/or virtual consultations with qualified homeowners
Present customized solar solutions, savings projections, and system designs
Guide customers through financing options (cash, loan, TPO/lease)
Overcome objections and close deals on the spot or through structured follow-up

Deliver Consultative Sales Experience

Educate homeowners on energy savings, system performance, and long-term ROI
Build trust through clear, honest, and professional communication
Tailor solutions based on homeowner needs, usage, and goals

Pipeline & Performance

Manage a consistent flow of appointments and opportunities
Track activity, follow-ups, and deal stages in CRM
Maintain high close rates and meet revenue targets

Collaboration

Work with setters, operations, and install teams to ensure smooth deal flow
Maintain deal accuracy for fast approvals and installations

What We’re Looking For

Required Experience

1–2+ years of solar closing experience (required)
Proven track record of closing residential solar deals
Experience with in-home presentations and/or virtual sales

Core Skills

Strong closing ability and objection handling
Deep understanding of solar financing (loan, cash, lease/TPO)
Excellent communication and rapport-building skills
Ability to simplify complex information for homeowners
Highly self-motivated, disciplined, and results-driven

Compensation & Earnings

100% Commission-Based
Uncapped earning potential
Typical earnings: $100,000 – $250,000+ annually
Performance bonuses and incentives available
