Job Overview
D&P GROUP is looking for a motivated and hands-on Logistics Specialist to support and optimize our fast-paced warehouse and freight operations. In this role, you’ll play a vital part in coordinating shipping and receiving activities, maintaining inventory accuracy, improving operational workflows, and ensuring timely product movement across the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics and warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, freight handling, and inventory movement
- Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms
- Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Collaborate with warehouse staff, carriers, and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to support efficient supply chain operations
- Identify opportunities to improve workflow efficiency, reduce delays, and minimize operational errors
- Support inventory control procedures, cycle counts, and materials management activities
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety standards throughout all warehouse operations
- Assist with troubleshooting operational issues and implementing effective solutions in a fast-paced environment
- Operate or coordinate materials handling equipment, including forklifts when needed
Qualifications
- Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, freight coordination, or supply chain support preferred
- Strong understanding of shipping & receiving, inventory control, and warehouse distribution processes
- Experience using WMS, AS400, or similar inventory/logistics software is a plus
- Forklift experience or certification preferred
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a deadline-driven environment
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Knowledge of OSHA and workplace safety practices preferred
