Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead <PERSON> to oversee and preform construction projects with precision and enthusiasm. As a pivotal leader on our team, you will manage the execution of diverse building initiatives, ensuring safety, quality, customer relationship satisfaction, and efficiency at every stage. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead every day projects and complex construction activities, including metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry, roofing, siding, remodeling, and restoration projects. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, craftsmanship, and timely completion.
Responsibilities
- Preform and lead crews in the installation of metal buildings, stick built framing, and finishing work as needed
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of plans
- Coordinate with your project managers to develop schedules and allocate resources effectively
- Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and other machinery to maintain productivity and safety standards
- Ensure proper installation of framing—including metal stud framing, trim carpentry, and dimensional measurements—adhering to construction plans
- Supervise and ability to preform work such as plastering, siding installation, framing, drywall, painting and other general construction.
- Manage material inventory and ensure timely delivery of supplies like roofing materials, woodwork components, siding products, ect
- Train team members in proper procedures and ways of practice for efficiency and safety
- Maintain detailed documentation of daily progress reports, safety logs, and quality control records as needed or required
Qualifications
- Proven experience in general construction and construction management with a strong background in framing and the building process.
- Skilled in interpreting technical drawings and schematics; proficient with blueprint reading
- Hands-on experience with roofing systems, framing (including woodworking), trim carpentry, drywall work (including plastering), and restoration projects
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently; familiarity with power tools and hand tools is essential
- Strong understanding of construction plans combined with basic math skills for measurements and calculations using tape measures and other tools
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams while maintaining high safety standards
- Physical capability for heavy lifting; comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as required by various projects

Pay: $27.43 - $36.04 per hour
