Full Job Description

Stella Rising is the leading marketing and media agency for spirited, high-growth consumer brands and service companies. We combine deep category expertise with a data-driven approach and a passion for elevating the brands people love most.

We are currently recruiting for a Manager, Media Strategy & Activation . In this role, you will drive the day-to-day operations of client campaigns, ensuring accurate budget management in collaboration with the channel teams for flawless execution and performance of all media in the market. Your deep understanding of media and emerging platforms, coupled with advancing strategic input, positions you as a crucial asset to both clients and our team. The right candidate must be able work proficiently in a remote environment but love getting together in person with clients, the team, and at our company sponsored events.

Regular responsibilities but are not limited to:
Lead cross-channel media plan preparation and oversee execution.

Guide client interactions and communication.

Contribute to budget allocation across media channels.

Analyze research for insight-driven media recommendations.

Evaluate third-party proposals, negotiate rates and plans, and approve final recommendations.

Develop and present tactical media recommendations to clients.

Oversee campaign execution, pacing, and optimizations in partnership with others on the team.

Complete ownership of reporting deliverables, ensuring all channel and account insights are meaningful and actionable.

Ensure accurate campaign billing and reconcile invoices.

Research and evaluate emerging market technologies, tools, and platforms.

Guide the onboarding and learning and development for more junior members of the strategy team.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Proficiency in cross-channel media tactics and planning.

Mastery of research tools (MRI, Comscore, Pathmatics, eMarketer, etc.)

High-level understanding of media platforms (Meta, TikTok, Google, and Programmatic)

Strong negotiation skills.

Advanced understanding of media analytics.

Basic understanding of digital ad operations and platforms.

Proficiency with reporting tools (GA4, DCM, Datarama).

Excellent communication (including presentation skills) and collaboration skills (internal team & external clients)

Strong management & organizational skills (people, projects, deadlines).

Expert knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.

Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred.
