The Law Offices of Parag L. Amin, P.C. (“LawPLA”) is a fast-growing business litigation and employment defense firm seeking an experienced litigation attorney who can step in, take ownership of an active docket, and move matters forward with momentum and precision. This is not a training role. You will be expected to contribute immediately with minimal supervision while collaborating closely with firm leadership and a seasoned support team.
Before you continue – we approach hiring the same way we approach our cases: thoughtfully, transparently, and deliberately. Watch this short video by our Founder to understand who we are, how we work, and the kind of legal professionals we’re looking for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JpXgzxdg_gY
We were recently named a Top-Rated Workplace in Southern California by the Los Angeles Times, and we take culture seriously: high standards, clear accountability, and real support systems that allow strong lawyers to do strong work. You will work in a remote environment that respects focus time while keeping collaboration tight, and you will have direct access to firm leadership when decisions need to be made. We also believe in rewarding meaningful contribution through production-based incentives—because we want performance and results to matter here.
In this seat, you will run point on meaningful matters and you will feel the satisfaction of seeing litigation move because you moved it. You will be trusted with real responsibility and you will be given the runway to exercise judgment, not just churn tasks. Your drafting will read like it was written by someone who understands both the law and the endgame—tight, persuasive, and calibrated to the posture of the case. You will manage discovery with discipline and intention, keeping the record clean and the team out of avoidable chaos. You will communicate with clients in a way that earns confidence: clear on risk, clear on options, and clear on what happens next. And you will quickly become an associate the firm can rely on, because you do what you say you will do, you surface issues early, and you keep the work moving without drama, surprises, or last-minute scrambling.
INDIVIDUAL APPLICANTS ONLY. NO AGENCIES. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT THE FIRM DIRECTLY. FOLLOW THE APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS PROVIDED IN THIS JOB POSTING.

- Prepare for and participate in mediations, settlement conferences, and other ADR, including risk analysis, settlement posture, and negotiation execution.
- Communicate with clients clearly and proactively about risk, options, costs, and next steps—building confidence and preventing surprises.
