Full Job Description

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Pre-Planning Production Assistant to join our dynamic team in downtown Detroit. This role is essential in supporting operational preparation and coordination activities prior to event execution.

Responsibilities

Participating in planning calls and site walkthroughs.
Reviewing event schematics and approved layouts.
Confirming vendor timelines and load schedules.
Aligning staffing levels with event scope.
Coordinating credentialing and access requirements.
Communicating property guidelines to vendors as directed.

The Pre-Planning Production Assistant supports operational preparation but does not assume executive production authority unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Qualifications

Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service orientation.
Bilingual abilities are a plus for supporting diverse teams and clients.
Demonstrated computer literacy with familiarity in data entry, proofreading, and document management.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team environment.
