Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician capable of diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide variety of domestic and import vehicles. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, efficient, and committed to performing repairs correctly the first time.
Technicians at FTD Auto are expected to maintain a professional attitude, communicate effectively with service advisors, and contribute to a positive team environment while delivering exceptional workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical vehicle concerns accurately.
- Perform repairs according to manufacturer specifications and industry best practices.
- Complete digital vehicle inspections with thorough documentation.
- Recommend needed maintenance and repairs based on vehicle condition.
- Perform preventative maintenance services.
- Maintain productivity while delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Properly care for shop tools and equipment.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Work collaboratively with service advisors and fellow technicians.
- Follow all company policies and safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Current ASE Certifications or an Automotive Technology degree from an accredited college or technical school.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience preferred.
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
- Experience with scan tools and modern vehicle technology.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced shop environment.

Important Applicant Requirement
To be considered for this position, applicants must possess either current ASE Certifications or an Automotive Technology degree from an accredited college or technical school.
Applications submitted without either ASE certifications or an automotive degree will not be considered.

Pay: $1,200.00 - $3,000.00 per week
