Job Summary
Security Officers will safeguard customer interests and conduct numerous security patrols at industrial, commercial, residential, and hospitality locations.
This position is open to applicants residing in Guam. Relocation assistance is not available.
Responsibilities
- Patrol industrial and commercial premises of G4S Secure Solutions (Guam), Inc’s customers or clients to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows and gates
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors and other persons to guard against theft and maintain security of premises
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences
- Perform other related duties as required or as assigned by supervisor/manager
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- First Aid and CPR Certified preferred
- 18 years of age or older
KSA’s (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities)
- Ability to communicate in English verbally and in writing
- Ability to memorize, recollect and quickly retrieve dates, names, times and other data
- Ability to stand for five (5) hours straight; able to sit, walk, stand, lift, reach, pull, push, and grasp for extended periods of time
- Works cooperatively with people from other parts of the organization
