Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move, load, unload, and stock inventory safely and efficiently.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 to track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order picker equipment and proper packaging techniques to ensure product integrity.
- Manage shipping & receiving activities by verifying shipments against documentation, ensuring compliance with trade regulations and international trade standards.
- Maintain organized storage areas by stocking products systematically and conducting regular inventory counts using stock management best practices.
- Support order fulfillment processes by accurately selecting items based on order specifications while adhering to quality standards.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks, ensuring safe handling of goods with appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and load/unload techniques.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes.
- Ability to operate forklift trucks, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners confidently; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of shipping logistics, order picking & packing procedures, and trade compliance regulations.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and documentation accuracy.
- Excellent physical stamina with the ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Prior experience with e-commerce fulfillment or international trade regulations is a plus.
