Inside Sales Representative

Position Summary
Tru Spec is seeking a highly motivated, customer-focused, and detail-oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our growing dealer network, assist with bid opportunities, and provide sales support for domestic and international markets. This position serves as a key point of contact for dealers, distributors, government agencies, and internal departments to ensure exceptional customer service and sales support.
The ideal candidate is an experienced sales professional with strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This individual must be a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding customer experiences while supporting the continued growth of the Tru Spec brand.
Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesDealer Sales Support
· Serve as a primary point of contact for authorized Tru Spec dealers and distributors.
· Respond promptly to dealer inquiries regarding products, pricing, inventory availability, order status, and program information.
· Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers to support sales growth and customer retention.
· Identify opportunities to increase dealer sales through product recommendations, promotions, and new product introductions.
· Assist prospective dealers through the application, qualification, and onboarding process.
· Maintain accurate records of dealer interactions and sales opportunities within CRM and ERP systems.
Bid and Contract Support
· Assist with the preparation, submission, and follow-up of bid opportunities and contract requests.
· Coordinate internally with sales, customer service, product management, and operations teams to gather information required for bid responses.
· Review bid requirements to ensure complete and accurate submissions.
· Track bid opportunities, deadlines, and awarded contracts.
· Support field sales representatives and management in contract-related activities.
International Sales Support
· Provide administrative and sales support for international distributors and customers.
· Coordinate with international partners regarding product availability, pricing, shipping requirements, and documentation.
· Assist with export-related inquiries and support compliance with international sales procedures.
· Support international growth initiatives and distributor development activities.
Customer Service Excellence
· Deliver exceptional customer service by resolving issues quickly and professionally.
· Handle customer concerns, product questions, and service-related requests with urgency and accuracy.
· Work cross-functionally to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
· Serve as a brand ambassador by representing Tru Spec’s commitment to quality, service, and professionalism.
Sales Administration
· Generate quotations, pricing proposals, and sales reports as needed.
· Monitor inventory availability and communicate product lead times to customers.
· Maintain accurate customer records and sales activity documentation.
· Assist with trade shows, dealer events, sales meetings, and product launches.
· Support sales management with special projects and market research initiatives.
Required Qualifications
· Minimum of 3 years of sales, inside sales, customer service, or account management experience.
· Strong customer service orientation with a passion for building long-term customer relationships.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
· Experience using CRM and ERP systems preferred.
· Ability to learn technical product information and communicate it effectively to customers.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in the uniform, tactical, military, law enforcement, public safety, or outdoor apparel industries.
· Experience supporting government bids, contracts, and procurement processes.
· Knowledge of international sales and distribution channels.
· Familiarity with NetSuite, RepSpark, or similar business systems.
· Experience working with dealer and distributor sales networks.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods.
· Occasional lifting of product samples and marketing materials up to 25 pounds.
· Occasional travel for trade shows, dealer meetings, and company events.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
