Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Industrial Hydration & Safety Brand

Company: SWORD HYDRATION
Location: Flexible (Pittsburgh, PA preferred)
Travel: 30–50%
Compensation: Competitive base salary + performance bonus + equity/phantom equity opportunity

Sword and Shield Hydration is responsible for hydrating and serving industrial, safety, facility maintenance, and commercial customers throughout the United States. We are seeking an entrepreneurial Chief Executive Officer to lead the next phase of growth for our proprietary hydration and wellness brand, Sword & Shield.

This is not a traditional corporate CEO position. We are looking for someone who has successfully built brands through industrial distribution channels and understands how to grow sales through national distributors, manufacturer representative groups, and strategic partnerships.

The successful candidate will be responsible for transforming Sword & Shield into the leading hydration solution for industrial workers, construction companies, manufacturing facilities, municipalities, utilities, and safety professionals.

What You'll Do

Develop and execute the long-term growth strategy for Sword & Shield.
Build national distribution through partners such as Grainger, Fastenal, MSC Industrial, HD Supply, White Cap, and regional industrial distributors.
Lead relationships with our manufacturer's representative organization, LineDrive Sales, while expanding additional sales channels.
Recruit, lead, and develop a high-performing sales and marketing organization.
Develop strategic partnerships with industrial safety companies, PPE manufacturers, and national accounts.
Own revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, budgeting, and operational execution.
Identify new product opportunities and oversee product expansion.
Represent the company at national trade shows, customer meetings, and industry events.
Establish KPIs and build a culture of accountability and performance.
Work directly with ownership to develop and execute long-term strategic initiatives.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has:

10+ years of executive leadership experience.
Proven success growing products through industrial distribution.
Experience working with Grainger, Fastenal, MSC Industrial, HD Supply, White Cap, or similar distributors.
Existing relationships within the industrial safety, MRO, construction, or facility maintenance industries.
Strong experience managing manufacturer's representatives and distributor sales organizations.
Demonstrated ability to scale revenue and build high-performing teams.
Excellent financial, operational, and strategic planning skills.
Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to build rather than simply manage.
Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.

Launch new products and strategic partnerships.
Establish Sword & Shield as a recognized leader in industrial hydration.
