HP Sales Northeast seeks a Field Service RepairTechnician to join its industry leading team to cover the greater Long Island and NYC, NY area out of our Mt. Laurel, NJ office.

You will provide preventive maintenance, warranty work, repair services, and parts for commercial cooking equipment in restaurants, retail, and other outlets. You must possess the ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair food preparation equipment. We are seeking a customer service oriented individual to provide our customers with maintenance, repair, and installation of commercial food service equipment, by diagnosing issues and replacing necessary parts.

Requirements:

Good understanding of basic math and financial information
Aptitude in using appropriate tools
Possess mechanical & electrical skills; able to read wiring diagrams & schematics
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Possess a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.
Must be able to access and be comfortable with working in a variety of conditions to include confined spaces damp and/or dusty locations, freezing conditions and hot conditions.
Must be able to physically perform the essential duties of the position which include lifting 50 lbs, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, use hands to finger, balancing, walking, standing, talk and hear.
Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical exam.
Professional demeanor a MUST when customer-facing.

Duties:

- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
- Fabricate and assemble electrical components and equipment
- Troubleshoot and analyze electrical problems in the field
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry regulations
- Maintain accurate records of work performed

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a Field Service Technician or Industrial Electrician
- Strong knowledge of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical issues and conducting repairs
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record

Note: Military experience in a related field is highly desirable.
