Full Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Laborer / Sweeper Driver. This is a hands-on position that combines physical labor with the operation of street sweeping equipment. The ideal candidate is willing to work outdoors, perform manual tasks, and obtain the necessary certification to operate our sweepers.

Responsibilities:

Perform general labor duties including site cleanup, debris removal, and manual tasks as needed
Operate street sweeping equipment (once properly certified)
Maintain cleanliness and safety of job sites.
Conduct basic equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Examiner’s (MED) Card
Willingness to perform physical labor in various weather conditions
Strong work ethic and reliability
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications:

Previous experience in construction, labor, or equipment operation
Experience driving commercial or heavy equipment (a plus, but not required)

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

· Written and Verbal skills

· Detail oriented

· Knowledge of various street maintenance equipment, their use, and maintenance.

· Ability to know your location in relation to the environment or to now where other objects are in relation to you and the vehicle.

· Ability to work in safe and efficient manner

· Ability to use basic hand tools

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
