Executive Administrative Assistant

Location: Albany, NY (In-Office)

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated and organized Executive Administrative Assistant to support a busy textile designer in a creative office and retail environment. This position is ideal for a recent graduate with a background in Art, Fashion, or Design who is eager to gain hands-on experience in the textile industry.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, resourceful, and able to adapt to a fast-paced work environment. They should enjoy interacting with people, handling a variety of responsibilities, and keeping daily operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

Provide administrative support for daily office operations.
Manage phone calls, emails, appointments, and scheduling.
Welcome clients and guests in a warm and professional manner.
Maintain organized files, records, and office systems.
Assist with showroom and store operations as needed.
Coordinate meetings and help manage changing priorities.
Support special projects and day-to-day business needs.
Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

Qualifications

Recent graduate from an Art, Fashion, Design, or related program preferred.
Portfolio showcasing creative work or relevant projects is required.
Interest or educational background in fashion.
Prior office, administrative, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities.
Ability to think quickly and solve problems independently.
Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and adapting to changing priorities.
