Job Summary: Installs, constructs, services, and repairs structures and fixtures. Troubleshoots and retrofits existing openings and products related to finish carpentry.
Key Responsibilities:
· Constructs, installs and services commercial projects, including but not limited to, finish carpentry, installation of cabinetry, casework, doors, door hardware, countertops, accessories, wall protection, corner guards and a variety of other specialty items. Maintains company standards of quality and efficiency expectations
· Collaborates with Foremen and/or Project Managers to gain relevant project knowledge necessary to complete job functions adhering to design intent, quality standards and timelines
· Loads and unloads products and tools as needed
· Repairs, troubleshoots, and retrofits existing openings and products
· Complies with all company occupational health and safety policies
· Performs other duties and projects as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· High school diploma, equivalent education or equivalent experience
· Basic carpentry experience required to construct and install products
· Ability to communicate, collaborate and problem solve effectively between foreman, project managers, laborers, and other related individuals and teams
· Strong mathematical and mechanical aptitude
· Experience with both hand and power tools
· Ability to work well individually with limited direction
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Commercial construction experience
· Welding experience in light gauge metals
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
· Must be flexible to meet customer’s demands; some overtime will occasionally be required as well as the ability to travel out of town
· Ability to use hands to handle and control objects, tools and controls
· Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time frequently
· Ability to lift 50 – 75 pounds frequently
· Ability to bend and twist frequently
· Ability to climb stairs frequently
· Ability to kneel, stoop, crouch or crawl occasionally
· Ability to work on ladders and lifts where applicable
· Valid and insurable Driver’s License
· Regular and predictable attendance is required

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
