Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Pilates Instructor to join our vibrant fitness team! In this role, you will lead engaging Pilates classes that promote strength, flexibility, and overall well-being for a diverse range of clients. Your expertise will inspire participants to achieve their fitness goals through innovative program development and personalized coaching. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on members’ health journeys while working in a lively, supportive environment dedicated to excellence in fitness instruction.

Responsibilities

Lead energetic and motivating Pilates classes tailored to various skill levels, ensuring proper technique and safety.
Develop and implement innovative Pilates programs that cater to individual needs and group dynamics.
Provide clear instructions on body mechanics, biomechanics, and physiology to enhance participant understanding and performance.
Monitor clients’ progress, offering personalized feedback and modifications to optimize results.
Maintain safety standards by demonstrating manual handling techniques, first aid procedures, CPR, AED operation, and adhering to health club protocols.
Foster a welcoming atmosphere that encourages participation, motivation, and community engagement among members.
Stay current with industry trends in strength training, sports coaching, and group fitness to continuously improve class offerings.

Skills

Strong knowledge of biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, and body mechanics relevant to Pilates practice.
Certified in CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) and AED (Automated External Defibrillator) operation; first aid certification is preferred.
Experience in program development, class design, and coaching within a fitness or health club setting.
Proficiency in manual handling techniques and weight handling in the workplace to ensure safe client interactions.
Demonstrated ability to teach group fitness classes with enthusiasm and clarity; personal training or sports coaching experience is advantageous.
Familiarity with gym equipment use, strength training instruction, and fitness center operations.
Excellent communication skills with a passion for helping clients achieve their health goals through tailored Pilates instruction.
