POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service / Sales Representative develops and maintains strong customer relationships through exceptional service, product knowledge, and reliable follow-through. This role manages all aspects of the sales cycle for assigned accounts—including prospecting, order management, and post-sale support—to ensure customer satisfaction and contribute to revenue growth.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
· Plan, organize, and execute a structured daily schedule supporting new account development and existing account growth.
· Maintain and service current accounts while identifying opportunities to expand business.
· Accurately process customer orders and provide timely communication and follow-up.
· Develop, present, and negotiate sales proposals.
· Participate in customer outreach activities, promotions, and sales events.
· Generate, qualify, and track leads; maintain updated customer and prospect information in the company CRM or database.
· Source and develop client referrals and nurture long-term customer relationships.
· Collaborate with the Sales Manager on strategies for new markets, customer segments, and revenue growth.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of programs, pricing, product offerings, and seasonal trends.
· Communicate customer insights, product needs, and market trends to internal teams (e.g., buying, operations).
· Assist in creating and distributing sales and promotional materials.
· Monitor competitor activity and market conditions to inform sales strategies.
· Support customers by identifying transportation and logistics solutions as needed.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure products and deliveries meet company standards.
· Investigate and resolve customer concerns by identifying issues and recommending solutions.
· Follow all company safety policies, procedures, and operational guidelines.
· Perform other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
· Knowledge of customer service principles and sales fundamentals.
· Floral industry experience preferred.
· Demonstrated sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
· Strong communication, relationship-building, and teamwork skills.
· Ability to stand, walk, crouch, or kneel for extended periods.
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
· Availability for early mornings, weekends, or schedule adjustments based on business needs.
· Previous office or administrative experience preferred.
· Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); CRM experience a plus.

· Work performed primarily in a warehouse environment.
· Routinely works in a floral cooler (32°F–45°F).
· Extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting.
· Frequent stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling.
· Routine use of warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, carts).
· Use of sharp tools such as knives and cutters.
· Regular use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, printers).
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
