Essential Job Functions
· Manages the environmental, industrial, health and safety regulation compliance and contract security program for the St. Peters, Missouri facility.
· Oversees the development, planning and implementation of environmental, health and safety policies and procedures used throughout the company.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to the environment and safety and handles all contact with appropriate agencies.
· Manages the site hazardous and radioactive waste programs
· Manages compliance with site drinking water, wastewater, surface water and air emissions permits.
· Develops and oversees company training programs for employees in areas such as ESH compliance, sustainability programs, , hazardous material and waste handling, emergency response, industrial hygiene, and life safety.
· Oversees the site groundwater remediation program.
· Ensures appropriate corrective action is taken where health and safety hazards exist.
· Selects, develops, and manages ESH personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
· Managing ISO certification and audits. MEMC is ISO14001, ISO45001, and ISO50001 certified. In addition, MEMC is ISO14064 verified.
· Responsible for achieving and reporting on corporate sustainability goals.
Ancillary Job Functions
· May be the point of contact for emergency personnel.
· Manages administration of the site workers compensation program.
· Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
· 8-10 years of related work experience
Preferred Qualifications
· Master's degree.
· Five to eight years of relevant work experience.
· Experience as a second-tier manager.

· Understand implications of department/division activities, exercise judgment and discretion in recommending and implementing strategies and process improvement.
· Supervise and oversee the work of professional staff. May manage work through subordinate supervisors.
· Efficiently delegate work to ensure tasks are completed in a timely and accurate.
· Effectively utilize available and relevant technical tools and resources (e.g., Microsoft Office, other software or hardware, manufacturing systems and equipment, etc.).
· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Able to explain complex and strategic concepts among diverse audiences, including senior management.
· Perform assigned tasks with reliability, honesty, and discretion.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
