Full Job Description

Work Location: Onsite location in Los Angeles, CA

Work Schedule: Flexibility to work assigned shifts within the Monday–Sunday schedule

Job Status: Full-time, Temporary

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: This is an 89-day contract with the potential to convert to a regular full-time role on day 90.

Travel: Ability to travel for two weeks during onboarding training

Rate: $39.00/hour

Are you a Medical Professional with a passion for precision and a talent for making people feel comfortable? We're seeking an Body Metrics Specialist to join our innovative user study. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in body mechanics and client rapport in a dynamic research environment.

Position Description:

You'll be instrumental in collecting high-precision anthropometric and video data for an indoor user study. This involves performing detailed body measurements on participants in minimal clothing, requiring exceptional attention to detail, a steady hand, and the ability to establish a warm, professional rapport. Your medical background will be invaluable in understanding body composition and ensuring accurate, consistent data collection.

Main Responsibilities:

Conduct user studies that require close proximity with participants, including collecting measurements of different body parts, as well as using high-precision technology
Maintain anthropometric equipment and inventory
Gather and analyze spreadsheet data
Organize and track large amounts of spreadsheet data
Facilitate participant intake and check-out
Manage the on-site phone and email, including making calls, sending texts, and responding to messages
Update the CRM scheduling tool to accurately reflect participant details and arrival times
Follow and adhere to COVID-19 safety protocols
Additional tasks as needed

Requirements:

Current License: CNA, RNA, LPN, LVN, RN & APRN (required for the duration of the project).
Measurement Expertise: Proven ability to conduct anthropometric measurements including:
Height
Weight
Head circumference
BMI
Body circumference
Precision & Dexterity: Capability to carry out essential duties requiring sustained fine motor control to ensure accurate manual measurements and use of precision tools.
Participant Comfort: Exceptional "bedside manner" to create a comfortable and supportive environment for participants of all ages.
Flexibility & Agility: Ability to move around participants, bend, reach, or kneel as needed for consistent measurements.
Analytical Mindset: Familiarity with the metric system
Problem-Solver: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, troubleshoot hardware/software, and contribute to team success.
Accountability: Commitment to transparent and reliable data collection.
Timeliness: Must demonstrate the ability to arrive on time and work in a timely manner.

Pay: $39.00 per hour
