Full Job Description

We're a U.S.-based digital marketing company hiring an experienced Google Ads specialist to manage paid search for our portfolio of B2B and local service businesses (industrial manufacturing and medical/healthcare). This is a long-term, part-time contractor role for someone who wants a steady, low-commitment anchor client — about an hour a day on two established, high-performing accounts.

What you'll do:

Manage and optimize existing Google Ads + Microsoft (Bing) Ads accounts
Search term analysis, negative keyword expansion, Manual CPC bid management, ad copy/RSA testing
Conversion tracking verification and clear performance reporting
Daily async updates via Slack during your working hour

What we're looking for:

4+ years hands-on Google Ads experience managing accounts end-to-end (not "assisting")
Real Microsoft/Bing Ads experience
Strong written English and reliable daily communication
A specialist who optimizes within a proven account structure — NOT a rebuilder

Important — please read before applying:

Our accounts are already built and producing strong revenue (one ran 50x ROAS last year). We are NOT looking for someone to restructure, rebuild, or "overhaul" them. The job is to learn the historical performance, respect the keywords and campaigns that generate revenue, and optimize within the existing structure. During the first 60 days, any pause or change to a converting keyword gets reviewed before execution. If you need full autonomy from day one or your instinct is to rebuild accounts, this isn't the right fit.

We move fast and we value complete, focused work — tasks that come back done, not half-done, with consistent daily communication.

Name one Google Ads account you personally managed end-to-end for 12+ months — industry, monthly spend, and a specific CPL or ROAS improvement with real numbers.
Your philosophy on Manual CPC vs. Smart Bidding — when does each make sense, and when would you push back against Smart Bidding even if Google recommends it?
Your first 30 days on a new account that already has multiple campaigns by service line, real conversion history, and revenue-generating keywords you've never seen. What do you do first?
Confirm you can work ~1 hour/day during U.S. Central Time business hours and provide daily updates.

A short paid trial audit on one of our live accounts is the final step before a contractor agreement.
