Full Job Description

Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist

Location: Headquarters
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Hourly Rate: $22.00 – $25.00/hr
Type: Temporary, 6-month assignment
Start Date: Wednesday, August 5, 2026

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team on a temporary basis. This role is vital in ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, fostering positive vendor relationships, and supporting the organization’s financial integrity. Key Responsibilities:

Review, reconcile, and process over 150 invoices weekly using Excel uploads, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Process invoices in accordance with specified payment terms and identify opportunities for early payment discounts.
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements with internal records to minimize delinquencies and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Electronically store and manage invoice documentation utilizing Adobe renaming plug-ins for organized record-keeping.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with external vendors to address inquiries and resolve issues efficiently.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure proper coding and approval of invoice payments.
Maintain proficiency in Microsoft Windows 11 Enterprise and Microsoft 365 to support daily operations.
Support ad hoc finance-related tasks as needed to ensure departmental operations run smoothly.

Qualifications & Experience:

Minimum of two years’ experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or similar finance roles.
Preferred experience with Infor’s Financial & Supply Management Portal (Infor OS Portal).
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Windows 11, and Microsoft 365.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging effectively via in-person, phone, email, and collaboration tools.
Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.
