Full Job Description

Milton Propane is hiring a dependable, safety-minded team member for our 20 lb. grill-cylinder facility in Milton, Wisconsin. This hands-on position includes cylinder refurbishment and requalification after required training. Employment continues based on seasonal workload, with potential year-round work when business needs support it. This role does not include propane filling, valve replacement, or cylinder repair.

What You Will Do

Clean and prepare empty 20 lb. grill cylinders for refurbishment.
Paint cylinders according to company procedures and quality standards.
Inspect cylinders and, after required training and authorization, perform applicable requalification, documentation, and marking tasks under company procedures.
Sort, stack, palletize, and organize cylinders and related materials.
Identify and segregate cylinders with damage, corrosion, valve concerns, or other defects for supervisor review.
Keep work areas, aisles, equipment, and storage areas clean and organized.
Follow required personal protective equipment, ventilation, no-smoking, ignition-control, and other safety rules; perform related facility duties as assigned.

What We Are Looking For

At least 18 years of age.
Reliable attendance and punctuality.
Ability to follow detailed safety, inspection, marking, and documentation procedures.
Willingness to perform repetitive, physical work in an industrial environment.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Prior production, warehouse, painting, or general labor experience is helpful but not required. Company training and demonstrated competency are required before independent requalification work.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements

Ability to stand and walk for most of the shift and frequently bend, reach, and handle cylinders.
Ability to lift, carry, and stack items weighing up to approximately 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to work around paint odors, noise, dust, and seasonal temperature changes while using required protective equipment.
Ability to maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.

Role highlights: consistent weekday mornings, no evenings or weekends currently scheduled, company-provided safety training and required protective equipment, and potential year-round work based on workload and business needs.
