MindCircuit has been retained to conduct a confidential search for an experienced Regional Office Manager on behalf of a well-established, growing Dental Service Organization (DSO) with multiple locations throughout the Greater Boston area.
This position offers the opportunity to oversee a portfolio of successful dental practices, partnering with Office Managers and clinical leadership to drive operational excellence, develop high-performing teams, and deliver exceptional patient experiences.
The ideal candidate is an accomplished dental operations leader who enjoys coaching others, improving performance, and building successful teams across multiple locations.
Position Summary
The Regional Office Manager provides operational leadership and support to a group of dental practices throughout the Greater Boston market. Working closely with Office Managers, providers, and corporate leadership, this individual is responsible for improving office performance, supporting staff development, optimizing patient experience, and ensuring operational consistency across the region.
This role is well suited for an experienced Regional Manager or an exceptional Practice Manager ready to take the next step into multi-site leadership.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, coaching, and operational support to multiple dental offices.
- Mentor and develop Office Managers while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Partner with providers and office leadership to improve patient satisfaction and business performance.
- Monitor key operational metrics including production, collections, scheduling efficiency, staffing levels, and patient retention.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, training, and retention of office personnel.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and financial performance.
- Support budgeting, expense management, and profitability initiatives.
- Conduct regular office visits to provide coaching, support, and performance oversight.
- Prepare operational reports and communicate performance trends to senior leadership.
- Support practice acquisitions, office openings, and organizational growth initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive leadership experience within a Dental Service Organization (DSO), dental practice, or comparable healthcare organization.
- Demonstrated success managing office operations, staffing, scheduling, and financial performance.
- Previous experience leading multiple offices is preferred but not required.
- Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with providers, managers, and support staff.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental practice management systems.
- Willingness to travel throughout the Greater Boston region.
