Customer Service Representative (Onsite)

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am-6pm
Work Location: Fully Onsite - Chesapeake VA

Start Date: 8/31/2026

Are you passionate about helping people and delivering exceptional customer service? We're looking for a Customer Service Representative to support employees and former employees by answering Human Resources and Benefits-related questions in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner.

If you thrive in a fast-paced call center environment, enjoy problem-solving, and have excellent communication skills, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do

As a Customer Service Representative, you will:

Answer inbound calls from employees and former employees regarding Human Resources and Benefits.
Provide accurate information while resolving customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.
Document all customer interactions and process transactions accurately.
Research outstanding issues and follow up until resolution is complete.
Respond to customer inquiries received through email.
Explain HR policies, benefits, and procedures in a clear and easy-to-understand manner.
Protect confidential information and maintain compliance with privacy requirements.
Navigate multiple computer systems while speaking with customers.
Meet quality, productivity, and attendance expectations.
Participate in required meetings, coaching sessions, and training.
Support additional duties as assigned.

Training Schedule

Monday through Friday
8:30 AM to 5:30 PM

Perfect attendance during training is required.

Work Schedule

Following training, candidates must be available to work Monday through Friday between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM.

Your assigned shift will be communicated before training concludes.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 6 months of recent call center, customer service, or benefits experience within the last 1 to 2 years.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.
Comfortable working in a high-volume call center environment.
Ability to multitask while navigating multiple computer applications.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently while following established procedures.

Additional Requirements

Must successfully pass a criminal background check prior to starting.
No drug screening required.
Must maintain perfect attendance during training.
