Full Job Description

We are seeking a highly tech-savvy, detail-oriented Reservationist to support guest booking experiences for vacation rentals in Savannah and Tybee Island. This role blends guest communication, sales, and data-driven decision-making with modern tools and automation.

This individual will leverage platforms such as ChatGPT, Streamline, RingCentral, and Google Workspace (Sheets & Docs) to efficiently manage reservations, respond to guest inquiries, and optimize booking performance. The ideal candidate is a fast, accurate typer who can process information quickly, communicate clearly, and confidently utilize AI-powered tools.

Key Responsibilities Guest Communication & Sales

Manage high-volume inbound and outbound guest communication via phone, text, and email using RingCentral and integrated systems
Respond to reservation inquiries, confirmations, modifications, and guest questions with speed and accuracy
Utilize AI tools (including ChatGPT and similar platforms) to draft, refine, and personalize guest communications
Apply sales strategies and upselling techniques to maximize bookings and revenue

AI & Technology Utilization

Leverage AI-powered tools to streamline workflows, improve response times, and enhance the guest experience
Operate within Streamline (PMS) to create, modify, and manage reservations and guest profiles
Use Google Sheets and Docs to track booking data, maintain reports, and organize operational workflows
Analyze reservation trends, pricing, and guest behavior using data-driven insights

Operational Support

Enter and manage reservations with high accuracy and strong attention to detail
Coordinate maintenance requests and operational needs through internal systems
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local events, promotions, pricing strategies, and property availability
Ensure all guest information is complete, accurate, and compliant with company standards

Guest Experience

Provide clear directions, property details, and local recommendations
Resolve guest concerns professionally with empathy and efficiency
Escalate complex issues appropriately while maintaining ownership of the guest experience

Required Skills & Experience

Previous vacation rental, hospitality, or reservation experience required
Strong proficiency with:
AI tools (including ChatGPT or similar platforms)
Streamline PMS or comparable systems
RingCentral or VoIP communication platforms
Google Sheets & Docs (data tracking and reporting)
Mac operating systems
Fast and accurate typing skills (high WPM with strong attention to detail)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong multitasking and data-processing abilities
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
Fluent in English (additional languages are a plus)
Previous call center or high-volume communication experience preferred
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Physical & Work Requirements

Prolonged computer use on a Mac-based system
Ability to manage multiple systems, screens, and communication channels simultaneously
Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
