The Production SchedulerProductionScheduler plays a critical role in coordinating, planning, and optimizing manufacturing workflows. This position is responsible for developing production schedules, managing job releases, and tracking progress to ensure on-time delivery and efficient operations.
This role works cross-functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and operations teams to balance priorities, resolve issues, and drive continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed production schedules aligned with operational goals and delivery timelines.

Partner with manufacturing teams to actively manage and adjust production schedules as needed.

Monitor delivery issues and implement corrective actions to minimize disruptions.

Analyze workflow data to identify bottlenecks and improve planning accuracy.

Maintain accurate data within Nieco’s MRP system.

Evaluate availability of finished goods and components to support production needs.

Investigate order and delivery discrepancies; resolve MRP-related issues and implement preventive actions.

Stay informed of current production workload, priorities, and manufacturing processes.

Prepare job packets, including work instructions, drawings, and checklists.

Track, collect, and close production jobs on a daily basis.

Maintain documentation, including scanning and organizing completed test reports.

Support continuous improvement initiatives and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in business, Operations Management, or a related technical field, OR 2+ years of relevant production planning/scheduling experience.

Experience working in a manufacturing environment with production scheduling responsibilities.

Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Ability to manage shifting priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Detail-oriented with the ability to balance both high-level planning and hands-on execution.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Experience with Syteline or other MRP/ERP systems preferred.
