Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Dump Truck Driver with a valid CDL-Class B or A license to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to safety standards. Your expertise will contribute to the smooth progression of various construction projects, from site preparation to paving and excavation. This position offers an energetic environment where safety, efficiency, and teamwork are at the forefront of daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL-Class B or A dump trucks to haul materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and other construction supplies across job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks and related equipment to ensure mechanical integrity and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, loads, and mileage in accordance with federal and company safety regulations.
- Assist with basic maintenance of trucks and auxiliary construction machinery including loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, and tankers.
- Coordinate with site supervisors and other heavy equipment operators to ensure efficient material movement and site logistics.
- Follow all federal construction safety regulations and company safety policies to prevent accidents and injuries on-site.
- Support utility locating efforts and assist with horizontal drilling or paving activities as needed to facilitate project progress.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial truck driving within construction environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for routine maintenance and troubleshooting of heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, water trucks, tankers, and paving machinery.
- Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and OSHA standards to ensure compliance at all times.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment including loaders, excavators (such as Caterpillar models), dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, horizontal drills, tankers, and paving machines confidently.
- Construction site experience with an understanding of construction processes and logistics coordination.
- Excellent knowledge of utility locating techniques for underground utilities before excavation or drilling activities.
- Skilled in heavy equipment operation with a focus on safety and efficiency during construction projects.

Pay: $28.00 - $32.00 per hour
