Overview

Join our dynamic team as a Server Team Member and become a vital part of creating memorable dining experiences! In this energetic role, you will deliver exceptional customer service, serve food and beverages, and ensure smooth restaurant operations. Your enthusiasm and dedication will help foster a welcoming environment where guests feel valued and satisfied. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, sales, and hospitality while working in a fast-paced, lively atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as TOAST POS
Prepare and serve food items efficiently, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
Handle retail sales transactions accurately, including cash handling and credit card processing
Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in all food preparation and service areas
Assist with food safety management, proper food handling, and sanitation protocols
Support team members with bussing tables, resetting stations, and ensuring a smooth flow of service
Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve guests promptly without compromising quality
Engage with guests to promote specials or new menu items, contributing to overall sales goals

Experience

No previous serving experience necessary
Familiarity with POS systems such Toast is advantageous
Demonstrated ability in food preparation, serving, cashiering, or retail sales transactions
Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations
Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
Experience working in a restaurant, café, or grocery store setting is beneficial
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
