Full Job Description

About Us

We are a growing small business seeking a detail-oriented and organized Finance Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is reliable, analytical, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
Track and record daily business expenses.
Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
Enter and maintain financial data in spreadsheets, databases, and accounting software.
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and statements.
Support budget preparation by gathering and organizing financial information.
Assist during internal and external audits by preparing requested documentation.
Maintain organized financial records and files.
Collaborate with management and other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Perform other administrative and finance-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite.
Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred).
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of basic accounting principles.
Experience with reconciliations and financial reporting.
Comfortable working with large amounts of data and maintaining accurate records.
