Position Overview
We are hiring licensed Health Insurance Agents for an in-office, service-focused role supporting regional Medicare carrier partners out of our Blue Bell, PA location. This is a year-round opportunity, not a seasonal AEP-only position, with a nationally recognized “Best Places to Work” employer. Agents handle 100% inbound calls from members and prospective enrollees — there is no cold calling and no outbound dialing. You'll help callers understand their Medicare plan options and complete accurate enrollments, with success measured by call quality, accuracy, and enrollment completion rather than sales quotas.
What You'll Do
- Handle 100% inbound calls from Medicare members and prospects — no cold calling or outbound dialing.
- Educate callers on Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and Part D plan options offered by our regional carrier partners.
- Accurately complete and submit enrollment applications within carrier enrollment systems.
- Verify eligibility, plan benefits, provider networks, and formulary coverage during the call.
- Follow CMS marketing and communication guidelines, Scope of Appointment (SOA) requirements, and TPMO disclosure rules on every call.
- Document each interaction completely and accurately per carrier and compliance standards.
- Meet quality assurance, accuracy, and production benchmarks tied to incentive pay.
- Escalate complex or non-standard cases to the appropriate carrier resource or team lead.
- Stay current on assigned carrier plan changes, benefits, and Medicare program updates year-round.
What We're Looking For
- Active, unrestricted Health Insurance license (Life & Health or Health line of authority) required.
- Prior experience with Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, or Part D products strongly preferred.
- Comfortable working in-office in a structured, high-volume inbound call environment.
- Strong active listening and verbal communication skills; able to explain plan benefits clearly and patiently.
- Basic computer proficiency — able to navigate multiple systems (CRM, enrollment platform, knowledge base) while on a live call.
- Reliable and punctual, with interest in a long-term, year-round position rather than seasonal work.
- High school diploma or equivalent; call center or customer service background a plus.
Compensation & Incentives
- Base pay: $23.00 per hour.
- Additional incentive pay tied to enrollment volume, production standards, and quality assurance scores.
- Year-round, full-time schedule — not limited to AEP/OEP season.
