Key Responsibilities:
· Works with Practice Manager to oversee daily office operations. Identifies and resolves operational and scheduling problems.
· Works with Practice Manager and Physician to supervise staff. Provides input on performance reviews of staff.
. Problem solving includes IT issues ( Invision), eCW problems, credit card, check scanning equipment, and other equipment issues.
. Assists Practice Manager with contracted vendors: Cleaning service, yard maintenance company, office equipment vendors, website (Officite), Answering Service (PerfectServe).
· Assists with interviewing and training of staff.
. Will be trained on payroll, accounts payable, monthly reporting by the Practice Manager.
· Resolves patient complaints, takes appropriate action, and reports all issues to the Practice Manager.
· Understands Prestige policies and registration workflow; Often provides coverage to Front Desk as assigned by the Practice Manager.
. Provides clinical coverage to the nursing staff as assigned by the Physician.
· Oversees PCP panels with Medicaid CMOs and works assigned reports to keep patients updated and address Care Gap issues on our panels.
· Ensures compliance with outside agencies, i.e., OSHA, CLIA, Dept. of Labor, etc.
· Assists with creating, implementing, and establishing policies and procedures.
. Assists with provider applications and re-certification for participating health plans.
Qualifications:
· Prior supervisory or management experience in a medical practice required.
. College degree or courses preferred.
. CMA or other clinical experience a plus.
· eCW experience a plus.
