We have an opening for a full-time Accounting Clerk to join our team in the office at our corporate headquarters. This position requires a person who has exceptional attention to detail and is well organized. The primary responsibilities include high volume accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, document sorting/scanning/coding, and assisting the current accounting staff.
Primary Job Functions:
* High volume data entry into databases, AR/AP systems, web forms, etc.
* Prepare and post journal entries
* Month end GL account reconciliation
* Reconcile and audit daily cash receipts
* Sort, scan, fax and file paperwork
* Drive between office and bank to deposit cash
Knowledge/Skills:
* Proficient data entry skills (min. 40 wpm, 10-key by touch)
* Intermediate Excel (formula creating, building spreadsheet templates)
* Must be detail-oriented and adhere to the highest level confidentiality standards
* Team-oriented and ability to multi-task
* Responsible and dependable – comfortable working with deadlines
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Reliable transportation, as driving to our other campuses and the bank is required
Education/Experience:
* Minimum (3) years of accounts payable or accounts receivable experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business REQUIRED
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
