Full Job Description

What you will enjoy doing

Conduct comprehensive inspections of mechanical systems, safety features, and overall vehicle condition to maintain asset reliability and roadworthiness
Diagnose and resolve issues in engines, transmissions, suspension, braking, and electrical components using structured troubleshooting
Perform timely repairs and replacements on tires, brakes, bearings, fuel systems, hydraulic systems, and HVAC systems to minimize downtime
Execute preventative maintenance tasks such as oil changes, filter replacements, fluid checks, and precise lubrication to extend equipment service life
Test vehicle systems after repairs to ensure functionality and compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
Manage accurate service logs, repair records, and inspection documentation while communicating repair recommendations to management and scheduling warranty work
Maintain a clean, organized work environment and strictly adhere to safety protocols, including proper handling of tools, equipment, and hazardous materials
Demonstrate strong computer proficiency by operating diagnostic software, interpreting digital service data, updating electronic repair records, and using automotive information systems

What makes you great

Uphold rigorous safety protocols to protect teammates and customers while maintaining an organized, hazard-free workspace
Bring a minimum of three years of commercial vehicle maintenance experience with proven success in engines, electrical systems, hydraulics, suspensions, and braking systems
Hold Automotive Service Excellence certifications or equivalent expertise and actively pursue ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and emerging technologies
Communicate clearly with management and drivers, deliver precise documentation, and take responsibility for proactive recommendations to prevent downtime
Manage multiple work orders efficiently, prioritize preventative maintenance, and ensure quality through thorough testing and verification against company and regulatory requirements
Preferably hold a Commercial Driver License Class A or Class B
Value and contribute to a customer-oriented, inclusive workplace that respects diverse perspectives
