Description

Primatech Inc. is a leading provider of consulting, training, certification services, and software products in process safety and risk management. We are looking for a knowledgeable, intrinsically motivated individual to join our development team in our Columbus, OH location. You will be responsible for implementing the company’s internal and external web applications, as well as assisting our marketing team with content updates.

Primatech prides itself on providing high quality services and products. We are looking for candidates whose professional values align with our standards for exceptional products and services.

You should have relevant experience with developing web applications in frameworks such as Laravel and Joomla. You will work directly with members of each of our business lines. You must be able to manage multiple assignments concurrently, while performing at a high level.

Requirements

Qualifications / Requisite Experience:

2+ years of direct experience building applications using PHP, HTML, Javascript (jQuery framework), XML, and MySQL
Excellent problem solving skills
Knowledge in full LAMP stack
Experience with Joomla and Laravel Frameworks
Experience with version control systems, SVN or GIT
Attention to detail
Clean code, inline documentation, and precise design translation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable working independently and in small teams, while meeting multiple deadlines

Experience in these areas is a plus but not required:

Experience with shopping cart design and payment methods
Experience with API’s
Experience with AWS
Experience with graphic design programs, such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
Experience with Google Analytics
Experience with YouTube
