Diesel Mechanic Wanted! $5,000 SIGN ON BONUS!

PRS Truck Repair is hiring an experienced Diesel Mechanic.

If you can diagnose, produce, and complete work efficiently without supervision, this role is designed for you. A technician who wants to be paid based on production, without being capped by hourly wages.

If you are currently being held back by:

Low hourly ceilings
Poor workflow
Waiting on parts or approvals
Cleaning up other technicians’ work

This position eliminates those bottlenecks.

Compensation - Hourly and Flat Rate positions available

Production-based flat rate pay structure OR hourly wage
Realistic earnings: $100,000 – $150,000+ per year
Top performers exceed this range

Current shop performance benchmarks:

Top technicians consistently FLAG 55–70+ hours per 40hr week

Your income is directly tied to:

Hours produced
Efficiency
Diagnostic skill level

If you are fast, accurate, and capable, this will outperform hourly pay.

Sign-On Bonus:

$5,000 sign-on bonus for qualified A-level technicians
Paid out over first 90 days of employment

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm
Day shift only
No nights
No weekends

Key Responsibilities;

Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on:
Diesel engines
Aftertreatment systems (DPF / DEF)
Electrical and CAN bus systems
Drivetrain, suspension, and brake systems
Identify root-cause failures and execute proper repairs
Complete jobs efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards
Accurately document diagnostics and repairs in the shop management system
Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Requirements :

5+ years of diesel technician experience (heavy-duty preferred)
Proven ability to diagnose independently (not a parts replacer)
Strong systems and aftertreatment diagnostics
Ability to consistently produce billable hours in a shop environment
Valid driver’s license

Not a Fit For:

Entry-level technicians
Technicians requiring constant supervision

Preferred Qualifications (Not Required)

CDL (not required)
OEM diagnostic software experience
Previous flat rate experience
Experience in a high-volume or fleet-focused shop
